NOTE LEARNING

We have been learning the names of the notes in both treble and bass staves.  Recalling the letter names at speed is the hard part, so we have been using a great App on our ipads called "Note works" to help us.

We have also been creating resources to help others learn note names.  We have been doing this using letter names or using the solfege system. 

A beautiful day to practice our recorder playing outside.
We are learning the notes B,A,G, E and D.  The lower notes are a challenge but practice makes perfect!

You have to love the creative approach to learning note names.  Some lovely work by Yr 5 & 6 students.

 
The Year 3 & 4 children have been having fun this week, using ipad apps to assist their learning of the notes of the treble clef.  

Nursery Rhymes and Lullabies

Today we recorded songs for our "Roots of Empathy" babies.

Here is a song that Room 23 taught me - a lovely way to learn your finger names.
